To obtain a Restricted firearms license, students need to have past the Non-Restricted firearms safety course Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course, CRFSC, RPAL, is for students wanting to obtain Restricted Firearms, Handguns, Restricted Rifle’s and Restricted Shotgun’s.
Course Objectives: Handling Non-Restricted and Restricted firearms and ammunition safely.
Handling Restricted firearms and ammunition safely.
Use firearms and ammunition safely.
Comply with Restricted firearm laws.
Store Restricted firearms and ammunition safely.
Display Restricted firearms safely.
Transport Restricted firearms safely.
Social responsibilities of firearms users.
Written and practical test.
CFSC, PAL, is available to students 18 years and older. After passing the test students are able to apply for a Non-restricted firearms license PAL.
